90% of the frames are here now.... Jerseys will be here in 2 weeks.... No pants ordered yet. Have not chosen the pants color.

Hello, John! Tell to us about your impressions about the American football in Ukraine. Than it differs from football in the USA? Than have been surprised? What from the experience plan to apply in Dnepropetrovsk? Whether it is possible to involve sponsors from the USA in development of clubs in Ukraine? What purposes put before "Mustangs" as the trainer? Thanks!

Thank You for your post. It is always an honor that you show interest in my program. I can not thank you enough for the warm and professional meeting we had on Feb. 28th this year. It was my birthday and the day I was born into the Ukrainian Football Family.
Impressions. My first impression was the Ukrainian Football Nation has no Strategy for Success, just a desire to survive. After being here 2 years now, I realize this survival mentality is part of the social structure. I also am a legal Ukrainian resident. I now pray every day that I have water and electricity and my car does not fall in a hole... I have developed a survival mentality. But my American DNA tells me that I am a winner and I don't take Defeat as an option. I wake up every day believing I am going to be a success today at what I set out to do. I believe I can train a rookie Ukrainian Football Team and be National Champions in 2011. This is the goal i have. I have been playing and coaching football all my life. I know how to win. The only problem I have is convincing the team they are winners. They must be brainwashed into believing. They must believe in their training and the coaches game strategy. The game must be won in the mind before the field.
Differs. I believe the big difference is in the game play. In the US the coaches run the defensive game strategy and call what plays to execute for the offense. From what I see, here the players on the field are directing themselves and only on rare occasions do the coaches get involved.
Sponsors. I was the President of the NAFL International. http://www.nafl.org/ .... The owner of the league and owner of the Georgia Mustangs was the Sponsor of the DNEPR Mustangs. I began a relationship with Christopher White the owner of the league shortly after becoming the Head Coach of the Dnepr Rockets... I sent him my resume and he appointed me President to register and establish the NAFL in the Ukraine. After my brake up with the Rockets. Mr. White and I decided we would create the Dnepr Mustangs. He had some new uniforms that he bought he didn't like anymore. So he would ship them to me free of charge. The uniforms had the name Mustangs already sewn on them. So we would be mustangs...lol... That's how the name was chosen. The economy got worse in the US and the NAFL was loosing money. Mr . White had to sell the jerseys and told me he could not expand the league into Europe at this time. So... I had made alot of promises to many players about a league and team. So to save my reputation I decided to buy equipment and jerseys with my own few dollars I have left in the bank. The Mustang players were told they would need to give $200 to own what they needed.Our agreement was I would pay for it now in JUNE and they would pay me when it arrived. The team knew they needed to pay me when it got here, so I bought helmets and shoulder pads for 25 players. Plus, 100 caps, 125 rolls of tape. 27 practice jerseys white for offense, blue for defense, 50 navy game jerseys, and 4 balls.
2 weeks ago 90% of the equipment arrived and was used to HIT SKIFFS....lol.... the SKIFFS were hit with new RIDDELL REVOLUTIONS.... with hard chin straps and inflatable jaw pads... The Best money can buy... Well last week I asked the team where is the money you all promised to pay???? The story I got from the team leader was maybe in a few months. This equipment promise was made in JUNE.... The UAH they did give me didn't even pay for the shipping. Out of the 42 registered Mustangs I have 4 who have paid 1/2 of what they owe. So..... Now there is a garage in Dnepr with some of the best football equipment in the world locked inside looking for a honorable group of men who want to be Champions Of the Ukraine. So to answer your question about a sponsor. I believe I am the only IDIOT in this country who would sponsor a UKRAINIAN Football team. I now have no choice...... As of today, Vladimir Lenin has arrived in the Dnepr to be my Director of Team Relations and Assistant Head Coach. We both share the same VISION. A strong FAFU, with a achievable plan for the near future and to make Dnepr the HOME OF THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

Когда-то, не так давно, один иностранный гражданин предлагал свои услуги в проведении семинара в Донецке. Если я правильно понял то основной месседж таков спонсорство-форма-200 американских долларов. Забавная формула. :lol:

Я же и говорю где немного чувствуется шкурный интерес сразу появляются маланцы, или американцы. Хотя может у меня переводчик не правильно перевел

не совсем так. была договоренность, что игроки купят форму за свои деньги. 200 дооларов за шлем, каркас, джерси, бриджи - это очень немного. Все согласились и договорились, что деньги отдадут, когда форма придет. Но когда коач купил все за свои, то деньги почти никто не отдал...
